VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is issued by the MOI (Traffic Department) for trailers as their manufacturers seldom follow the world standards. The issued number is then stamped on the vehicle with FAHES code for reference purposes.

Registration for VIN Stamping:
All Trailers, Quads and Caravans, imported or manufactured in Qatar are issued with a VIN by the MOI (Traffic Department) which is stamped on the body of the vehicle. The owner intending to register the vehicle, needs to register the vehicle at the registration booth.

VIN Marking:
