About FAHES:

WOQOD Vehicles Inspection (FAHES) is the only company licensed to conduct inspection of light vehicles, heavy vehicles and heavy equipment in Qatar. FAHES offers a highly technically oriented inspection of vehicles in conformity with the approved standards of road traffic safety and pollution control. The company carries out technical inspection of the vehicles in compliance with standards mutually agreed upon with the MOI (Traffic Department) and the General Committee of Standardization and Metrology.

Purpose:

The mandatory vehicle inspection has three main purposes:

1. Reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by vehicle components or system failure.

2. Increase the number of legally compliant vehicles on the road.

3. Reduce the environmental impact caused by vehicles.

Therefore, "WOQOD Vehicles Inspection (FAHES)" was set up to ensure vehicles meet safety and environmental standards, and to identify any potential mechanical issues before they become serious problems. The vehicle inspection is the process which allows the MOI (Traffic Department) to check that every vehicle complies with the minimum standards for road worthiness, emission and legal compliance at the time of the inspection.

The inspection of vehicles is conducted following the Qatar & GCC Standards with respect to vehicle road safety, environmental and legal requirements. It is inevitable that vehicle conditions deteriorate with use and age, it is the users responsibility to keep the vehicle in a safe, roadworthy and environmentally friendly condition throughout the year.
