The General Directorate of Traffic has issued four conditions to
transport ready–mix concrete and to prevent leakage from vehicles carrying
ready-mix. will come into effect from December 1, 2019.
One of condition stipulate that a discharge hopper of ready-mix
concrete truck must be covered with a bag and firmly closed.
Also, the bag should be checked to verify that it is waterproof,
preventing leakage of both water and cement concrete.
The department added that the bag should have fortified layers
and strong edges and meet the required conditions statically and dynamically.
After making sure that it meets required conditions, Fahes
should perform numeration of the bag and in coordination with Technical
Inspection Section.
